Background and Clinical Approach
Hey there, I’m Kelsi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Nationally Certified Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas.
I approach therapy with a warm, friendly, and encouraging style, creating a collaborative space where curiosity and creativity support deeper self-understanding and meaningful change. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and often incorporates mindfulness and expressive arts, offering both practical tools and opportunities for creative exploration. My goal is to meet you where you are and work together on goals that fit your life and story. For me, the heart of therapy is the relationship itself; I take time to get to know each client and ensure therapy feels supportive, flexible, and genuinely helpful.
I enjoy working with individuals and families across the lifespan, and I have a special interest in supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual differences. For over seven years, I’ve worked with children, teens, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodivergences, helping them build skills in daily living, social communication, and career
readiness.
When I’m not in session, I enjoy playing guitar, creating art, gaming, and spending time outdoors with my husband and young son. If you’re interested in starting therapy or learning more, I’d be glad to hear from you and see how we might work together!
