What

What to Expect

Therapy is a place to honestly explore past and present experiences in the here-and-now, with the goal of growth toward a more fulfilling future. We view the therapeutic relationship itself as paramount in providing a space for exploration, change, and healing while helping to provide an opportunity to experience safety, compassion, and support. We focus on providing flexible, individualized, and culturally-sensitive treatment, recognizing each person as the expert of their own lived experiences. While a variety of approaches influence the way we work and interventions we integrate, each individual session is unique and guided by what is needed most in that moment.

How

How to Get Started

To get started, give us a call, send us an email, or click here to request an appointment.
We will be happy to chat with you further, answer any questions, and/or assist you in scheduling  an initial intake appointment with one of our therapists.

An initial intake appointment will look a bit different than a typical therapy session. This meeting will provide a space for you and your therapist to get to know one another and may focus on information gathering. You may be asked to share information or answer questions that can help the therapist get a better sense of who you are, your experiences, treatment needs and goals for the therapy process. You may also ask questions to help you better understand the process and determine if the therapist may be a good fit for you moving forward.
