Background and Clinical Approach
As an LMSW therapist, I am dedicated to guiding you through life’s challenges with empathy and understanding. Over the past 13 years, I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults across different stages of life, providing counseling and skills training in a variety of settings. My experience includes serving on a crisis team supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and working as a behavioral health psychology intern in a residential hospital.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, and my master’s degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and am currently pursuing my clinical licensure as an LCSW and certification as a Yoga Therapist. My commitment is to provide holistic, trauma-informed care that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

In my practice, I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Therapy, and Expressive Therapies, while tailoring each session to your unique needs. I also find inspiration in philosophy, metaphysics, and poetry, which enrich my understanding of the human experience and deepen my work.

I believe that therapy is a space for you to reconnect with your inner self, uncover your strengths, and cultivate hope. With a person-first approach that prioritizes compassion and empowerment, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where healing and growth feel possible.

It would be an honor to walk with you on this journey toward well-being and self-discovery.
