Background and Clinical Approach
Dr. Jamie Lopez is a clinical psychologist who completed her doctor’s degree at Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico. She has experience working with diverse populations in a variety of settings, including college counseling centers, community mental health clinics, and domestic violence programs. Through her experiences, she has realized the importance of tailoring her therapeutic approach to each persons’ unique needs and preferences. Dr. Lopez’s therapeutic approach is person-centered and relational. She is intentional about developing a strong therapeutic relationship with each person in order to help foster a safe, caring, and nonjudgmental space. Dr. Lopez believes collaboration is key to help identify therapy goals and develop strategies to achieve them.

Dr. Lopez enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, dancing, and spending time with her loved ones. She prioritizes self-care and balance to help her provide the best care possible for her clients.
