Background and Clinical Approach
Hey there! I’m Iman.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Charlotte Jackson, LPC-S, with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M Central Texas.
I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and human — not intimidating or overly clinical. I offer therapy in English, Urdu, and Hindi, making sure clients can express themselves in the language that feels right for them.
I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Many of the clients I support are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, identity exploration, or major life transitions, and are looking for a space where they can slow down and be real.
I have a strong interest in working with clients exploring cultural identity, family expectations, and social pressures, and I proudly offer an affirming, inclusive space for LGBTQ+ clients. I have extensive experience working with autistic children and adolescents, which has shaped my approach to be patient, adaptable, and responsive to each client’s unique needs and strengths. I enjoy supporting couples who want to improve communication, deepen understanding, and strengthen their connection.

My passion for mental health grew from my experiences within a South Asian community where these conversations weren’t always openly encouraged. Because of that, I strive to create a culturally responsive space where all parts of you feel welcome. My approach is collaborative and flexible, drawing from person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we focus on self-reflection, emotional awareness, and practical tools you can use in everyday life. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you — it’s about understanding yourself and building confidence in who you are.

If you’re considering therapy — whether you’re ready for change or just beginning to explore — I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
