Background and Clinical Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) committed to supporting adults and older adolescents as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and emotional upheavals. I bring to therapy a relational, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach — believing that healing begins when we feel seen, heard, and accepted, not judged. I specialize in working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, substance abuse, identity exploration, and the long-term effects of trauma, guiding them toward deeper self-understanding, resilience, and emotional balance.
My therapeutic style integrates evidence-based modalities with a supportive and compassionate presence. I draw from approaches such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), mindfulness, and relational/attachment frameworks, ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients explore past and present experiences in a way that honors their whole selves. I strive to meet each person exactly where they are, tailoring interventions to their strengths, values, and personal goals. I understand that no two stories are alike, and want to work with you to find the most meaningful path through whatever challenges you face.
I believe therapy is more than symptom management: it’s a journey of rediscovery, growth, and connection — to ourselves, to others, and to finding deeper meaning in our lives. In our work together, I aim to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore, heal, and build toward the life you want to live. I look forward to walking alongside you on your healing journey at White Willow Psychological Services.
