Background and Clinical Approach
So, who is David? I’m just a small-town guy that’s rooting for you. I completed my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lipscomb University. I believe that each of our experiences shape who we are as people, which helps us to understand our emotions and navigate life. I believe that it was through my life experiences that this profession chose me.

I am passionate about supporting individuals that may struggle with over-thinking, feelings of depression, anxiety, or finding their purpose in life. I have been there, too. You are not alone, and you are not broken. That's why I love helping others gain a healthy perception of themselves and their relationships.
I aim for people to know themselves as peaceful, whole and safe. I provide an atmosphere of acceptance where you'll have the freedom to be who you are in sessions. There is no judgement here.​ I recognize the importance of autonomy, so my style of therapy is relaxed and collaborative. We will work together to recognize and highlight your strengths while helping you build skills that work best for you.
