Background and Clinical Approach
Christina Lion is a clinical psychologist who is dually licensed in Texas and Oregon. Always intrigued by the mind-body connection, she holds a doctoral degree in psychology from Walden University as well as master's degree in physical therapy from Drexel University (formerly Hahnemann). Her experience in the field includes a practicum at the state hospital in Oregon as well as an internship on the inpatient psychiatric units of Adventist Hospital.
Dr. Lion's areas of specialty include ADHD, generalized anxiety disorder, depressive disorder, PTSD, couples counseling and psychological testing. For several years, she owned and operated a private practice in Oregon, working primarily with adults and adolescents. She also spent some time writing with the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. She is fascinated by the inner workings of the mind, particularly in regards to learning and memory. Dr. Lion's true passion lies in psychological evaluation and she has largely focused on psychological testing since moving to Texas in 2021.
Currently, Dr. Lion completes comprehensive, compassionate psychological evaluations to address a wide array of questions and needs including ADHD, Autism (children and adolescents only), Intellectual Disability, Academic Difficulties and Learning Disorders. She works with kids 7+, teens, and adults.
Dr. Lion loves the Texas weather and enjoys CrossFit, anything related to dogs, good food, and hanging out with her family and friends.
